A historical town with 5000 years of history and the fantastic Hohenklingen Castle. Since 1000 years, Hohenklingen Castle is protecting the strategic place where east meets west and north meets south. 

Stein am Rhein, on the end of the Lake of Constance, has always been an important traffic juntion for consumer goods from many European countries. The Castle was several times modified and renovated. But in the long history it was never destroyed. Therefore, Hohenklingen is still in the original shape with his huge walls, his tower and the other buildings since many hundreds of years.
