Führung im Thermenmuseum

Landschaft und Wein

Description

Visit the impressive ruins of the former central baths of the small Roman town of Juliomagus (1st to 3rd centuries AD) and discover interesting, surprising and amusing facts about Roman bathing culture.

Discovered in 1974, the bath complex is now housed in a modern museum building and open to the public. Thanks to the well-preserved remains of the Roman complex, you can step back in time and imagine what life was like in the baths back then.

Public baths played an important role in Roman times. The thermal baths were not only used for personal hygiene but also served as a social meeting place.

The Baths Museum is open all year round, is wheelchair-accessible and is also suitable for children and school groups.

A light refreshment is available on request.
