The Buchberghaus is a quiet oasis for hikers, bikers and everyone who feels comfortable in nature or wants to escape the stress of everyday life. It is located in the middle of a wonderful hiking area on the Merishauser Randen.
The Buchberghaus is open on weekends throughout the year and offers ideal catering and overnight accommodations for everyone. Our simple and grounded kitchen offers dishes with seasonal and best possible regional products. The warm dishes are prepared on our time-honored wooden stove. A special challenge for every cook.

You get your overnight experience in the Buchberghaus at reasonable and humane prices. Rooms with 2, 3, 4. and 5 beds with Nordic bedding are at your disposal. In the large rooms with 11 or 14 beds your own sleeping bag is obligatory.
From Monday to Friday the house offers ideal conditions for schools and groups, private parties, birthdays, seminars as well as business trips. You can also cook your own meals or have them catered for on request through the reservation office.

The two barbecue areas in the Buchberghaus can be used free of charge. The barbecue areas and the wood are provided free of charge. You can bring your own food and prepare it yourself. However, we would be very grateful if you could obtain drinks from the house during this time. Wood and barbecue sites are intended for barbecuing and not as campfires: please do not burn any packaging or other waste you have brought with you. Thank you very much.
