Sawmill tour
During our guided tour of the sawmill, you will gain an insight into how round timber is processed.
HedingerHolz AG looks back on a company history of over a hundred years and is one of the largest sawmills in the region. About 25 employees process, whenever possible, local wood from sustainable forestry.
Power, size, technology as well as pulsating noises and the smell of fresh wood captivate everyone on this tour. Experience the path from round to square - above all woody. Of course, women are also welcome!

Visit us with your group or school class and get an insight into an innovative, exciting and regionally anchored company and into a versatile occupational field related to wood processing:
Log yard: sorting and grading of logs with debarking station.
Sawmill: tour of the running machines from the bridge above the machines in the factory hall.
Outside storage: tour of the outside storage and the climate drying hall with tour of the heating and drying chambers.
Further processing: planing machine, cutting to length and production of packaging.
