Schaffhausen Jazzfestival

The Schaffhausen Jazz Festival is the most important showcase of contemporary Swiss jazz. Many international and national opinion leaders, organisers, musicians and journalists come to Schaffhausen for the summit meeting of Swiss jazz musicians.

Since 1990, the Schaffhausen Jazz Festival has been regarded as the most important showcase and beacon for contemporary Swiss jazz and the Schaffhausen cultural agenda. Every year in May, over 15 bands perform on the festival stages of Kammgarn, TapTab and Haberhaus for four days. Street jazz in the old town and in Stein am Rhein as well as the Schaffhausen Jazz Talks are unique on the Swiss jazz scene.
