Schaudepot St. Katharinental
Schaudepot St. Katharinental is a centre for everyday rural culture in the Lake Constance region: Agriculture, viticulture, transport, crafts and trades as well as women’s work are vividly presented here.
An overwhelming variety of more than 10,000 objects is on display in the granary of the former Dominican convent. Visitors can witness the way of life and work in pre- and early industrial times in a vivid way. You can immerse yourself in times gone by at the 1,800 square metre facility.
The Schaudepot opens its doors all year round – by appointment. A guided tour offers a complete view of our optionally individual thematic areas and lasts 60 minutes.
