Schleitheimer Randenturm
The, in 1872 originally wooden, 40 ft. high tower collapsed in 1894 and was replaced in 1909 on the ruins of Schleitheim’s Randen castle by an iron tower. Today 896 m a.s.l.
In the Second World War the tower was used by the Swiss Armed Forces as a lookout post for the anti-aircraft troops.
