St. Moritz Church
Built in 1491 and consecrated to Saint Mauritius, the mountain church, situated on a hillock of the Hallau mountain, overlooks the village of Hallau, well-known for its viniculture.
The higher elevated location puts the church in view of the whole of Klettgau and has become the symbol of the village of Hallau.
In 1974 it was declared a national monument due to its historical and artistic value and from 1976 to 1978 it was extensively renovated.
