Stein am Rhein Ballon Sport Club
Since the founding of the Balloon Sport Club Stein am Rhein in the 80's, many people have been able to admire our beautiful region from a bird's eye view. Today we can look back on 40 accident-free years and look forward to more beautiful flights in the region.
Since his childhood, Pascal has been enthusiastic about the, at that time still rare, balloons. Already at the age of 19 he was able to show the passengers the beauty of nature from a bird's eye view. In the meantime, more than 27 years have passed. Since then Pascal has spent more than 1000 hours in the air. He has also taken part in many competitions, including regular participation in the Swiss Hot Air Ballooning Championships.
Tanja Witprächtiger and Margrit Lazzaretti take care of the guests on the ground. They are just as enthusiastic about ballooning. With the chase vehicle they accompany us to the landing site. They know the north-eastern part of Switzerland very well and always know the fastest way home. At competitions Tanja is the calm pole and provides Pascal with important information.
Our balloon fleet currently includes 2 hot air balloons. A smaller balloon with a volume of 3'700m3 and a larger one with 4'500 m3 volume of hot air. Gas balloon flights are performed with our own balloon, which is driven by 2 other pilots.
