TapTab
In 1988, the club of loose groups of concert and party organisers were already established as TapTab-Musikverein, and have been running the TapTab-Musikraum - a club with a 200-person capacity, since Kulturzentrum Kammgarn's opening in 1998.
Estimated 15,000 visitors yearly enjoy the wide array of: concerts, parties, poetry slams, films (like the "short and sweet" short film series), musical readings and lots more.
The TapTab organisation team - consists of about 40 active and 60 extra volunteers - featuring the Underground, the non-established and new streams of pop culture, DJ culture and continually give local and regional bands, DJs, short film makers and slammers a platform.
Apart from this, the TapTab maintains an international network within similarly positioned scenes and reaches out to acts from all over the world and brings them to Schaffhausen. With 130 events yearly, it is the most prolific music club of the region (2002 awarded with +GF+ prize) and local cultural life could not imagine being without it.
