Taverne Nohlbuck
A place of strength high above the Rhine with an overwhelming view as far as the Central Alps.
A fine, varied cuisine, a safe playground for children to let off steam, the gift shop for beautiful things but above all a parlour to feel at home in.
Already 200 years ago, there was a farm with an inn on the Nohlbuck. In those years, the pilgrims' path led directly past the farm and the faithful had the opportunity to eat in the inn.
The Nohlbuck is a curiosity because of its location near the border. Our farm and the Besenbeiz are in the canton of Zurich. However, the courtyard is partly on German territory and the canton of Schaffhausen also borders on it.
The tavern has room for a maximum of 55 guests and the terrace for 60 guests.
A view from the terrace offers a magnificent view of the Rhine all the way to the Rhine Falls basin. The panorama also offers a view of the surrounding hills and, on a clear day, even the Alps.
