In the oldest, still originally preserved house (1302) of the town, the ‘Krippenwelt’, Nativity World, displays, and that not just at Christmas time – in changing displays between three and five hundred nativities from around the world.

Our Bistro offers daily dishes and a seasonal menu, and with its thirty seats, can also cater for groups with set menus of your choice. Our Christmas dinners are particularly popular. A museum shop and exhibitions by leading artists from Switzerland and abroad, in our vaulted cellar, complete the offer of the KrippenWelt, Stein am Rhein. We look forward to your visit.
