Schwanen
Until 1600, the building was called Kreuz or Weisses Kreuz and was used as a residence, inn and tavern. In the course of time, it developed into the leading inn on the square.
In 1927, the inn was converted into a cinema and has since been one of the oldest cinemas in Switzerland.
In 2018, the cinema hall was gently renovated and the technical equipment renewed.
The wheelchair-accessible cinema has 70 comfortable seats, modern projection technology (also 3D), Dolby surround sound and hearing assistance.
Current films are shown at the weekends. The cinema can also be hired for private events.
Cabaret and concerts are regularly offered on the stage.
